Job summary

NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) offers an undergraduate internship in the Development (Fundraising) Department, supporting the Principal & Major Gifts division with data management, process improvement, and operational support. The role reports to the Senior Grants Manager and offers hands-on nonprofit fundraising experience.

The internship is 10 weeks, 35 hours/week, hybrid (New York or Washington, DC), with a $7,000 stipend paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Eligible rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and May 2027 graduates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support IPG Operations data management and processes.
• Assist with Salesforce data management and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvement and data integrity.
