Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Portfolio Controller for onsite work in Columbia, Maryland. You will ensure GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls, review NOI and leasing activity, and support budgeting, forecasting and audits across a portfolio of 25–35 buildings and ~100 leases.

The role requires an active CPA, 5–7 years of accounting experience (2+ years in property accounting preferred), and proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office. Onsite in Columbia with some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Five to seven years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in property accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX is essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain historical books for 25–35 properties and ensure internal controls.
• Review NOI, leasing activity, variances, and AR issues; support property/asset managers.
• Prepare management reports and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit work papers.
• Provide guidance to and supervise at least 1 Project Accountant.
