Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and ability to analyze transactions.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptability to new software.
• Ability to independently research and derive GAAP conclusions from complex deals.

Aufgaben

• With minimal supervision, monitor leasing activity to identify and process required fixed asset transactions and adjustments.
• Review and analyze each deal to determine GAAP accounting, even if the structure differs from economic terms.
• Track budgets and estimates for development projects in the job cost system.
• Collaborate with project management to obtain estimates and ensure proper costing.
• Prepare quarterly project financial updates and reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor invoices, contracts, and change orders to ensure timely payments and proper coding.
• Investigate variances between projected and actual spending and resolve issues.
• Prepare and process monthly capitalized interest calculations for active development projects.
• Maintain understanding of active projects and ensure GAAP-compliant calculations.
