Job summary

Montgomery County PA is seeking a custodial worker to perform a variety of housekeeping duties at the Montgomery County Courthouse and other designated facilities. Qualifications

Prior custodial experience in maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments across commercial or institutional facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine custodial and housekeeping duties during first shift hours, with primary responsibility for maintaining cleanliness of all public restrooms within the Courthouse.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including application of appropriate cleaning chemicals to eliminate bacteria and ensure hygienic conditions.
Restock restroom supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitary items to meet the needs of staff and visitors.
Adhere to established cleaning schedules to ensure areas are properly cleaned and secured while minimizing disruption to employees and the public.
Exercise judgment and flexibility in adjusting schedules or cleaning sequences to accommodate building usage and customer needs.
Identify and address custodial needs proactively, including conditions not explicitly outlined in assigned tasks.
