Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to retail tasks across store operations, product handling, and customer service.

You will interact with customers and learn what above-and-beyond service means while contributing to a family-oriented workplace. As a member of the Meijer team, you’ll perform varied tasks, from cart movement and trash collection to basic cleaning and collaboration with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist safely.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
