Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support a variety of retail tasks and services in our store. You will represent the Meijer brand by delivering friendly, efficient service and helping customers with their needs.

You will gain exposure to store operations, assist with service desk, check lanes, and department collaboration. This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
