Job summary

Meijer Inc. in the United States is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks and customer service. You will contribute to store operations by assisting with services, stocking, and front-line duties.

As a Meijer Courtesy Team Member, you will interact with customers, collaborate with store departments, and learn the essentials of efficient store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull while handling products or using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
