Job summary

Timberland Partners Inc is seeking a Courtesy Officer for the 333 on the Park community in downtown St. Paul, MN. You will patrol the property, monitor cameras, and address resident concerns during overnight shifts, including solo work.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Facility security experience strongly preferred.
• Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, and be self-directed and independent.
• Ability to appropriately and professionally handle conflict and defuse situations.
• Interact positively and professionally with residents, guests, vendors.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the property.
• Protecting the property from theft, vandalism, disturbances, accidents, etc.
• Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, noise violations, overcrowding.
• Detect signs of intrusion and ensure patrol of doors and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of visitors and vendors, with escort.
• Communicates openly with the Property Manager.
• Investigates and writes reports documenting incidents and hazards nightly.
• Provide assistance to residents/visitors per policies.
• Assist residents with package tracking.

Job description

We are looking for a Courtesy Officer for our 333 on the Park location. This community has 134 units and is located in the lowertown area of downtown St. Paul, MN. As the Courtesy Officer you are responsible to ensure a safe environment is maintained. You must be comfortable working alone overnight while monitoring camera systems, patrolling the apartment property, addressing resident concerns, and completing other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Patrolling the property.
• Protecting the property from theft, vandalism, disturbances, accidents, etc.

• Detect signs of intrusion and ensure the patrol of doors and gates around the community.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of visitors and vendors, make sure they have the appropriate escort.
• Communicates openly and frequently with the Property Manager.
• Investigates and writes reports to document accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, and fire hazards, and other courtesy patrols related situations on a nightly basis, beginning at the start of each shift.
• Provide any needed assistance to residents and/or visitors according to policies and procedures.
• Assist residents in package tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Customer service experience strongly preferred
• Facility security experience strongly preferred

Physical Demands:

Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying light and heavy loads.
