Job summary

Securitas, Inc. seeks an Experienced Security Officer for a part-time shift based in St. Paul, MN.

You will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling assigned sites, and responding to incidents with professional judgment. Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under stress.
• Pre-employment screening, including drug test and 10-year background check.
• CPR and FA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce regulations.
• Perform access control and patrol assigned sites.
• Respond to incidents with professional judgment.
• Provide information and customer service to clients and visitors.
• Carry out post orders and daily site tasks.

Experienced Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage Range: $21.90-$25.25/HR

Available Schedules:

• Sat - Sun: 1400 - 2200


• Fri: 0830 - 1730 & Sat: 0830 - 1330


• Sun - Thurs: 2200 - 0600 (Temp)

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.


• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a urinalysis drug screen and a 10 year background investigation.


• Must have a minimum of 1 year of security experience.


• Previous law enforcement / military experience preferred.


• CPR and FA certification.
