Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Ohio is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations and guest experience. You will ferry shopping carts from outside to the store, assist with parking lot and trash collection, and help manage snow removal as needed.

You will also handle perishables, returns, and basic cleaning while coordinating with service desks and various departments. Flexible scheduling on peak days is required, with Meijer Rewards including weekly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

Hiring Immediately up to $14.50/hr. Starting pay is determined by experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Required Scheduling Availability: Days are flexible, but you must be available to be scheduled on our 3 busiest sales days (F, S, S).
