Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. You will help with core retail tasks, interact with customers, and support various store areas such as the service desk and check lanes.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and bend as needed while handling products.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Courtesy Team Member assisting customers and maintaining store appearance.
• Coordinate and collect trash around parking lot, exterior, and interior areas.
• Assist with snow removal and basic cleaning tasks.
• Support service desk, entrances, check lanes, and sales floor departments.
• Engage with customers to provide above-and-beyond service.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
