Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from carts at checkout.
• Offering help to customers with loading bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of current grocery specials.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including spills, trash, and general tidiness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
