Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for efficiency and care to prevent damage, while striving to bag at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Returning merchandise to shelves and gathering shopping carts.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
