Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using best practices for various bag types.
2. Assisting in removing merchandise from carts and helping customers load bags into their cars.
3. Performing basic shelf conditioning, returning merchandise to shelves, and gathering carts.
4. Cleaning spills, collecting trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
5. Handling seasonal merchandise, understanding store layout, conducting price checks, and informing customers of specials.
6. Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety and food safety regulations, and reporting unsafe conditions.
7. Practicing preventive maintenance and inspecting equipment.
8. Creating a welcoming environment, answering customer questions, and adhering to all laws and guidelines.
9. Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts, acting with honesty and integrity, and supporting customers, including minors and individuals with special needs.
