Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
6. Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
7. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
8. Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot.
9. Cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
10. Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
11. Conducting price checks for cashiers and reinforcing safety procedures.
12. Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Performing equipment inspections and notifying management of repairs.
14. Creating a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
15. Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflicts effectively.
17. Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
18. Providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
