Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts during checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers about grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts.
8. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
9. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
10. Follow safety procedures, identify hazards, and report issues.
11. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
14. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
