Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged, striving for at least five items per bag.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from cart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
