Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged, aiming for at least five items per bag.
2. Assist customers with loading bags into their cars and removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
3. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
4. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
5. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
6. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
7. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
8. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
9. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
10. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
11. Act with honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality of customer and business information.
12. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
13. Perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
