Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
8. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
9. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Create a welcoming environment, answer questions about products, and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
12. Comply with all laws and company policies.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
14. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
