Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of shopping carts during checkout.
• Offer help to customers with loading bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers about grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and maintain store cleanliness inside and outside.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Conduct price checks and reinforce safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with integrity.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
