Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers about grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts for return.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
12. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
14. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
