Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets during checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers about grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
12. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
15. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
17. Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
