Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, striving to pack at least five items per bag without damage, following best practices for various bag types.
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offering help to customers with loading bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to store shelves.
• Gathering and returning bascarts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise, understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
• Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
