Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Ensure safety by following procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, and handle conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, seek assistance when needed, and support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
