Job Summary:

The Crane Operator role requires the operator to be licensed to operate a crane with at least a 30-ton capacity and have extensive experience in rigging, load calculations, and safe crane operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety while working in outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a crane (30-ton capacity or greater) in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Calculate loads using weight charts, rigging configurations, and lifting capacities to ensure safe operations.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and complete required checklists to confirm equipment is in proper working condition.
• Understand crane capabilities and limitations to avoid overloading and unsafe lifting conditions.
• Communicate effectively using verbal instructions and hand signals with riggers, spotters, and team members.
• Ensure safety is the top priority by adhering to all company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Remain alert and focused at all times to prevent hazards and ensure smooth crane operation.
• Work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying weather conditions as required by job duties.
• Perform other tasks as needed or directed to support operational requirements.
