Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Cleaning all store areas, handling seasonal merchandise, and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and practicing preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Creating a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing support, especially to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
