Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Following all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflicts professionally and maintaining honesty and integrity in all dealings.
