Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets during checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
• Ensure safety by complying with safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
