Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, trash inside and outside the store, and handle seasonal merchandise.
8. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
9. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and assist with store navigation.
13. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
15. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
17. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
