Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
7. Gather and return shopping carts.
8. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
9. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
10. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
11. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment by engaging positively with customers and answering questions.
13. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business confidentiality.
16. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.
