Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Using best practices for various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets at checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning items to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks and adhering to safety and food safety regulations.
• Reporting unsafe conditions and participating in safety programs.
• Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and creating a welcoming environment.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflicts professionally.
