Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist customers in removing merchandise from baskets and loading bags into cars.
4. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
5. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
6. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and conduct price checks.
8. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
9. Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
10. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
11. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
13. Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and seeking help when needed.
14. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
