Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and items are bagged efficiently.
2. Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
3. Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
4. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
5. Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
6. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
7. Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
8. Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
9. Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
10. Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
11. Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
13. Creating a welcoming environment for customers and answering questions about products.
14. Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment and managing conflicts professionally.
16. Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
