Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are undamaged and striving to bag at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning items to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
