Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assist customers with unloading their merchandise from shopping carts.
• Offer to help load bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves as needed.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash collection, and store cleaning inside and outside.
• Handle and set up seasonal merchandise.
• Know the store layout, locate products, and assist with price checks.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering product questions.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
