Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently at checkout, ensuring items are not damaged, and striving for at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets and helping customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and informing customers of specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves, gathering and returning shopping carts, and cleaning spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise, understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment, maintaining a welcoming environment, and assisting customers with questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly, and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Supporting and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
