Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using best practices for different types of bags.
2. Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
3. Offer help to customers with loading bags into their cars.
4. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
5. Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
6. Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
7. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
9. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
12. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
13. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and seeking help when needed.
