Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged, and striving for at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks and reinforcing safety procedures, including reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining equipment.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions and supporting diverse needs.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and managing conflicts constructively.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Following directions and seeking assistance when needed.
