• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and maintain a neat work station.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
• Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.
• Maintain professionalism during bagging; avoid conversations with other associates.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in store cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleanliness.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area and replace misplaced items.
• Collect trash, bale boxes, and use the intercom properly.
• Understand shelf tags for price changes and perform other duties as needed.
