Job Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in stocking milk and eggs.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and keep shopping carts in their proper place.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
• Assist in maintaining a clean work station and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms neat and clean.
• Assist customers in locating products.
• Never engage in conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system.
• Understand shelf tags to assist with price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
