Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in keeping shopping carts in proper place on the front end.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Maintain a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas.
• Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.
• Avoid conversing with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms and parking lot litter-free.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items.
• Collect trash, bale boxes, and ensure proper use of the intercom.
• Understand shelf tags for price changes and perform other duties as assigned.
