Courtesy Clerk

Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.

Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.

Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.

Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place at the front end and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.

Help maintain a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms tidy.

Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.

Avoid engaging in conversations with other associates while bagging orders.

Understand and explain the ValuCard program.

Assist in keeping the parking lot and shopping carts litter-free and in managing the parcel pick-up area as directed.

Replace misplaced items to their proper locations and collect trash and bale boxes as needed.

Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags to assist with price changes.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.
