Job summary

The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court seeks a Court Program Specialist II to assist judges with timely disposition of self-represented litigants’ cases through case management, monitoring, and program implementation. The role requires handling a high volume of cases, researching and briefing, scheduling hearings, and reporting on data.

Based in Kissimmee, FL, the position is an OPS, in-person role with hours 7:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
• Three years of professional, administrative, analytical work experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist judges and magistrates with timely disposition of self-represent litigants’ cases through case management and monitoring.
• Provide information to litigants and staff, review filings, make referrals, and prepare cases for final court hearings.
• Brief judges, schedule hearings, and maintain databases and case data for reporting.
• Perform related administrative support functions and ensure confidentiality and professionalism.
