Responsibilities

• Arrange interpreter coverage for hearings, proceedings, and conferences.
• Directs and schedules interpreters; maintains freelancer lists for coverage.
• Participates in recruiting, selecting, evaluating, and training interpreters.
• Provide interpretation between English and foreign language; adhere to professional standards.
• May travel to other jurisdictions; may supervise contract interpreters.
• Provide guidance on statewide and local interpreter policies and procedures.
