Global Impact Group LLC, doing business as Global Language System, seeks a Federally Certified Spanish Court Interpreter for a full-time, on-site federal assignment in Denver, Colorado. You will provide Spanish-English interpretation, translation, transcription, and linguistic support for investigations, hearings, and trials.

Must hold a Federal Court Interpreter Certification and be fluent in Spanish and English; you will work in a high-security environment and maintain confidentiality while

Qualifications

• Current Spanish-English Federal Court Interpreter Certification.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience providing simultaneous and consecutive legal interpretation.
• Experience translating legal documents.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Denver, Colorado.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government approvals.

Responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive Spanish-English interpretation.
• Interpret during attorney-client meetings and court proceedings.
• Translate legal documents between Spanish and English.
• Transcribe and translate Spanish-language audio or video recordings.
• Prepare verbatim transcripts with timestamps and speaker IDs.
• Review and proofread translations and transcripts for accuracy.
• Maintain case-specific terminology lists and glossaries.
• Explain regional dialects, slang, and cultural nuances.
