The State of North Carolina Judicial Branch seeks a Court Coordinator (S) for District Court 37 in Randolph County. You will manage case status and calendaring, prepare reports in Enterprise Justice, and serve as the liaison for attorneys and self-represented parties. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

A four-year degree and one year of court experience are required. Minimum education and experience combine to support effective case management and timely court processing;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in court administration, criminal justice, public administration, business, or related field plus one year of court experience.
  • Ability to manage case status information and calendar court dates.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook; strong data entry and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Draft correspondence and respond to requests for case status information and/or calendaring court dates.
  • Schedule, monitor, and track cases eligible for arbitration.
  • Create and review reports processed within the Enterprise Justice case management system.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for attorneys and self-represented parties by providing general case information.
  • Assist the District Court Judges as needed.
