Job summary

Project 180 seeks a Mental Health Clinician for the Rapid Diversion Program (RDP) based out of a LA County courthouse. You will screen defendants for suitability, formulate treatment plans, and provide clinical recommendations to the team.

You will link new clients to services and collaborate with court stakeholders to facilitate timely diversions. The role requires strong clinical judgment, knowledge of mental health/substance use treatment, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health field and valid license/registration (e.g. LCSW/LMFT/LPCC).
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience for unlicensed, or 2 years for licensed clinicians.
• Experience with biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential RDP participants and make diversion recommendations to the court.
• Develop diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plans and court recommendations.
• Link clients to appropriate services and resources with urgency.
• Coordinate with court staff, defense attorneys, and collateral contacts.
• Maintain detailed case notes and complete program reporting.
• Participate in ongoing risk assessments and adjust plans as needed.
