SSG-Project 180 seeks a Mental Health Clinician for the Rapid Diversion Program at the Antelope Valley Courthouse. You will screen defendants for diversion, formulate treatment plans, and link clients to appropriate services with a focus on mental health and substance use treatment within the LA County system of care.

Licensed or unlicensed Master’s level clinicians with strong clinical judgment are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health field and valid license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) with licensing body (e.g. BBS).
• 1+ year of clinical experience for unlicensed candidates; 2+ years for licensed candidates.
• Experience with biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning and delivering clinical interventions.

Mansioni

• Assess potential Rapid Diversion Program (RDP) participants and make diversion recommendations to the court.
• Conduct clinical interviews and perform assessments including diagnosis, readiness for change and community linkages.
• Formulate a diagnosis, comprehensive treatment plan and recommendations to court for potential diversion.
• Coordinate with collaterals and court staff to educate on mental health recovery and support client advocacy.
• Maintain logs, report progress, and ensure timely linkages to treatment services.
• Maintain ethical standards and operate within harm-reduction, trauma-informed framework.
