Qualifications

• California Clinical Social Worker license must be maintained throughout employment.
• California Board of Behavioral Science Supervision Training certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Three years of professional-level administrative and/or clinical experience in a mental health or forensic justice involved program, with program development, policy & procedures, contracts, or budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of mental health services for Public Defender clients.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Create timely treatment plans and client-centered strategies to support transitions from custody to mental health services.
• Directly supervise the Clinical Therapist and provide supervision hours for the Social Service Practitioner Unit.
• Conduct Mental Health Diversion Program clinical evaluations and testify on findings when needed.
