Job summary

Beaverton Municipal Court seeks a Court Support Specialist 2 to assist visitors and support court operations. You will handle payments, process filings, and balance daily totals while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You will clerks in the courtroom, update case information, and prepare notices that affect court cases. This role requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic public-safety environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment including cash handling.
• One year of experience in a criminal justice, legal, or public safety environment or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person customer service at the court's public counter and over the phone.
• Balance cash and card payments and issue receipts.
• Support courtroom proceedings by clerking and updating case information.
• Enter and update case information in the court’s case-management system.
• Process filings, notices, and correspondences to keep cases moving on schedule.
